Yes. The tools are free to use without registration or payment. Each editor has its own supported inputs, resource limits and export formats.

Do I need to create an account?

Accepted Answer

No account is required. Selected files are converted in your browser, not uploaded to an application conversion server. Image URLs still make requests to their source hosts. The site uses Google Analytics; third-party network ads are currently disabled. Browser-local conversion does not mean zero data collection. Which tool should I start with?

Accepted Answer

Use Image to ASCII for a photo or logo, Text to ASCII for a FIGlet banner, and Patterns for repeating character designs. The chart, flowchart and layout tools make structured text for documentation.

Can I paste the results into a README or message?

Accepted Answer

Use a monospace font or a code block to keep spacing intact. Some destinations change spaces or Unicode characters. Check the sharing guides, or use ASCII to PNG when you need an image instead of selectable text.

Will my work be saved?

Accepted Answer

Copy or export your work before leaving. Some editors let you explicitly save settings on this device, but there is no account-based project library. Pages need a network connection to load; a reload does not restore your artwork.
