Higher values skip more near-white or near-black pixels. This is a brightness cutoff, not object detection; it can also erase subject details.

Up to 6 lines, 32 printable ASCII characters per line. Repeated in the open space beside the subject. Leave empty for no text clusters.

Both downloads include the subject, text clusters, floor and glitch bars at the selected dimensions. SVG keeps editable text; its monospace appearance can vary by viewer. PNG fixes the browser-rendered appearance. No animation.

Prepare the subject, then compose

Upload a transparent cutout or a photo with a plain light or dark background. Match the source background setting and adjust the cutoff: it skips pixels by brightness, not by recognizing a person or object. A busy background will remain part of the figure.

Place the subject left, center or right. Edit the decorative text, choose ink and canvas colors, then shuffle the decoration seed for another arrangement. Generate again after changes; stale settings cannot be exported.

Selected images and poster text stay in this browser workflow and are not saved for recovery. Site resources and analytics still make network requests; see data handling. Upload only artwork you have permission to use.

The starting composition uses this site's existing ASCII preview of Napoleon Sarony's Nikola Tesla portrait, about 1890; source and terms are documented on that example. Regenerating samples the original photograph with the poster controls.
